Built on Real Experience
The philosophy behind Leverage is rooted in decades of direct experience at the intersection of banking, finance, leadership and professional development.
The company is founded by Mahmoud Antar, a senior banking executive and structured finance leader with more than 25 years of experience across corporate banking, structured finance, syndicated lending and strategic management at leading local and regional financial institutions. He currently serves as Senior Vice President at a regional Bank, following senior leadership roles at the National Bank of Egypt and Bank Audi.
Yet the foundation of Leverage extends beyond executive banking experience.
For more than 15 years, Mahmoud has dedicated a significant part of his professional journey to training, mentoring and developing future generations of bankers and finance professionals. During this period, he has trained and mentored more than 2,500 professionals across Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region through leading educational and professional institutions.
This combination of practitioner, executive, trainer and mentor is central to the identity of Leverage. It allows our programs to bridge a gap that traditional training often struggles to address: the gap between knowing what something means and knowing what to do with it.
